checked firmware update today and needed to upgrade config files so continued to do so,problem is every time I unplug the flashscan and check firmware it tells me to upgrade again.any ideas.

Which type of files are listed as out of date? All of them or just some of them?
What happens if you update them again?

It is a bug in the FlashScan and AutoCal firmware. The firmware is not flushing the RAM/cache buffers on FlashScan/AutoCal after all the files are updated. That means once FlashScan/AutoCal is disconnected some files reverted back to their old state.
The workaround is to do the [Check Firmware]->[Update Files], then perform the following: [F5: BBX]->[F2: Scan]->[Read], then [Program Selections Only (faster)]. That will correctly flush the buffers. It will be fixed in the next update.
