I'm not sure what might have changed there but there is multiple copies of the VIN stored throughout the files, FWIW, none of them are actually written back to the ECM.

Ok cool thanks is there something that changed because I seem to remember when the LML tuning was first released if the wrong vin was programmed in it caused a no start/dead ecm unless it was flashed again with the proper one.
04 LB7
2010 LMM
2015 LML
For the LML the VIN is not written during programming (actually TIS does at the end) so I don't know how the wrong one could ever end up in the ECM with EFILive unless it was specifically changed.

I figured it out tonight. I noticed main timing was also not switching and figured there was no way they missed that it must be on my end.
Anyway it was a switch somthing to do with epa errors or egr error it would default to air density 5 map. I just turned the switch off and all was well. Thanks for the reply.
Yeah it pretty important to monitor that PID when tuning, it seems to drop to 5 when it goes in to a fail safe type mode, which of course mean EVERY table then refers to Alt 5 no matter what the altitude. And then with Alt5 not in the CSP5 tables you run in to further issues with the switching not doing as expected.

I got a bit of a feature request, not sure if this is where I should put it.
But it would be nice to change the default directory when you go to open a script in the tune tool. I have always kept my scripts along side my tunes just to keep everything in one neat place while browsing in the windows explorer.
Thanks
