    Default "Integer Overflow"

    Hi there,

I just purchased a new EFILive V2-03 and am having an issue. Hoping you can help me to get started.
    The issue is...

    When clicking on the:
    - "EFILive Scan and Tune" icon
    then...
    -"F2: Scan"

At that point a million boxes appear saying, "Integer Overflow" and it freeseze and I have to reboot my pc.
    Happens over/ over! Ahhhh....

    How can this be corrected?

I tried to unistall everything and install once more but that does not correct it.

Not a known issue (and it is a strange one), maybe try installing the software versions in this thread.

I'm trying to reply to this...

For some reason EFI will not accept a reply from me to my own post. (???)
Maybe because I included a link?

Anyhow, if you Google EFILive Integer Overglow, it will take you to EFILive's Site and it shows this being an issue that was once resolved. (Just I'm experiencing it now).

I was trying to include a link to show this.

Looking forward to getting things going to try my V2!

While you indicate you've updated your software and firmware, please post version numbers. It is critical that once the software is installed that you manually update the firmware by selecting the Check firmware tab in the V8 software.

FWIW, I'm running the above software and firmware and cannot reproduce your problem.

When you uninstalled and reinstalled, did you re-download the software? If the software didn't download correctly the first time around, reinstalling it will simply repeat the issue, I'd suggest you download the software again, and then reinstall.

    Cheers

    Hi Cindy,

I downloaded both the V7.5 and V8 hardware and did check the update tab.

BTW: Your "missing" posts were marked "moderated" by the forum webapp because they contained url's and your post count is low.
