2011 cummins tuning questions

hey guys my names aaron. ad i'm wanting to discuss the tuning practices on these 4th gen dodges. i had a 3rd gen 5.9 and understood that for the most part. and i would like to get on the road witht the factory ish files while i start tweeking my tune file on my free time.

my current truck is 2011 ram 2500 srw 4x4 with the 6.7 cummins.
i have found a stock tune file that someone has shared on the board here to another member.
1. how do i verfy it is the correct file for my truck?(i have attached said file)
2. on the file and did not see anything about dtc's so i can disable the codings for my obsolete dpf system and non functioning egr system. are the not present?
3. i must load the stock tune into truck and then read the ecm?

im sure i have something messed up here so far.

like i said i would like to just get going with stock tune installed minus dpf/egr while i start tweeking and read in depth more

after searching the above link i think i might have came up with the determination that the proper operating system i will need is going to be 11350130AM.
as found on page 165. the above file i found appear to go to a
2011.5 DD 6.7L CUMMINS AUTO 50S also found on page 165.

There is no emissions defeat parameters for the 2010+ Cummins in EFILive.
We will include those parameters at some point for non US tuners.

3. i must load the stock tune into truck and then read the ecm?

No, it is not possible to read the ECM via OBD-II, you can only flash in your tunes in.

okay where can i find the factory files at? i seen the deposit files link but the dont have one thats meets the needs

I would suggest contacting a tuner that can provide a base file and purchase one from them.
