The "code 1400" error seems to be an issue with closing the TuneTool in Windows.

In post #72 I explained my perception of the issue.
The software only does this (code 1400 error) on 2 out of 5 Notebooks that I use for tuning. I have never been able to sort it out. It never happens if I use "Alt + F4" to close the TuneTool.
Is it messing with anything but It used to not do it till I updated it in the end of Feb that's when it started this
It seems like you have not installed the latest software versions from here:
https://forum.efilive.com/showthread...se-Candidate-1
There are two links. One for V7.5 and one for V8. You must download both of them and install both of them.
Once the V8 software is installed. Run the EFILive V8 software.
First, check that the [About] button shows [About V8.2.2.274] The last number is the critical number it must be 274 or higher.
Next, click on the [Check Firmware] button to update the firmware to V2.07.81. The last part of the firmware must be 81 or higher.
When you select the Help->About option in the V7.5 software you should see version: V7.5.7 build 280. The build number must be 280 or higher.
