    Default Strange advance behavior - 2006 Silverado 5.3 LS1B controller

    Engine misfires under medium and full load, and sometimes under steady conditions.

    Advance and KR behaves strange.

    Could it be a sensor fault?

    Std tune. Cleaned main terminals on battery and main grounds. Also cleaned connectord to Pcm.
    Checked for leaks on manifold - none. Also coil #5 was misfiring periodically under load.
    I think a bad ground connection caused the 45 deg retard on ignition.
    The bad coil also really made it cough and perform bad. It's ok now, only a few occational high rpm misfires on first gear
    @wot. Possibly the plugs
