I've been playing around with transmission tuning on my LS1/4L60e equipped '82 Vette and while I'm pretty happy with the results one thing that I'm not is the torque converter lockup in 4th. I've moved the upshift and downshift tables up a row, and I notice that when in 4th the first thing that happens during moderate acceleration is the torque converter locks up. I have to press the pedal harder than I'd like to get a release and a downshift. I tried shifting the TCC tables up a row as well but it really didn't help. Can someone point me in the right direction on this, Joecar's auto transmission tuning tutorial doesn't really get into this.
