    Default Frustrated nOOb.. New Cam

I installed a new cam and cannot get it to idle correctly without throwing a P0106. I have tried to do the Swingtan VVE Dial in, but I cannot get it to idle long enough to drive and log it. I have added air into the idle table, etc. I've got help here and there but nothing I can really go by.

I attached the before cam tune (tuneb4cam), current tune (GXP_Isky....), the Swingtan VE tune that I cannot get to idle, and a log with the "current tune."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Any reason why C0805 and C0806 are set the way they are?

P0106 is a MAP sensor performance issue, however I get the feeling that the rational tests will combine both the MAP and MAF settings and correlate between the two. So setting C0805 and C0806 to the wrong values can throw either a MAP or MAF code.

Have you tried settings these tables to something more like this?

    • C0805:
      LABELS Maximum Airflow Change (Grams/Sec)
      TPS % Value
      5.00 34
      10.00 30
      15.00 32
      20.00 40
      25.00 50
      30.00 60
      35.00 70
      40.00 70
      45.00 70
    • C0806:
      LABELS Maximum MAP Change (kPa)
      TPS % Value
      5.00 63
      10.00 45
      15.00 40
      20.00 37
      25.00 37
      30.00 33
      35.00 33
      40.00 33
      45.00 33

I think they were like that stock, I captured a stock file from TuneFileDepot when I first started messing with it and it shows to be about the same. I will try this and report back.

Stock values may not necessarily be the correct values.
