in comparing my B3647 100 kpa column to my PE table (B3618)- the PE is slightly richer(stock ls1 PE table).

I have my VE dailed in- so I supposed I could enable back PE mode- I am curious at why PE is safer.

Right now I command a max of 12.5AFR(1.17 eq) in 3647- should I re enable PE mode (B3618) and set it to match the last column in B3647? This way I am 'guaranteed' to get the enrichment?

    ...very interesting.

    John,

    Your VE looks very choppy.

I would ensure everything is setup in EQ ratio and go from there. Start by smoothing out the VE table by hand a little bit- then go take some good logs. How is your wideband setup? Is your filters set correctly in the maps? When I go to your map properties it has a 0 entered for cell count for considered empty. This should be 10-50 IMO. Also- the data you have is very sporadic- I think your WBO2 or it's setup is faulty. Post your calc_pids file.

Your high and low base spark tables should match base spark in gear and park neutral in the idle regions. I set 0.08-0.32 g/cylinder and 400-1200 rpm all the same- what I want my base timing to be( I run 26°).

Your end timing looks real low- I run a final time of around 22° in the high/low maps, then use A0010 to subtract ~1° per pound of boost. It works well. I also have a 5.7- your 5.3 I believe should be fine with more timing, but that's your gamble. I know 4.8s love timing.

My wide band is set like 12 inches from the turbo outlet. I adjusted my cell count last night to 50 before i went and did about an hr or so of some driving and i got some pretty good results i think. Ill post the log file tonight when i get off work. Im going to try to get some dyno time this week end and see if can get some more logging in.
