Upshift parameters Question

What is the outcome of setting the 1st, 2nd ->3 shift speed at the speed I want 2nd to 3rd to shift at.

Does this mean I can just drop it into first and take off and it will automatically shift from 2nd then 3rd without me touching the shifter? (gto has n A4)
And if I have 1->2 set at 40, does that negate the above and then use the 2 -> 3 shift speed?

When you select manual 1st, it takes off in 1st gear,
and it holds 1st gear until ~40MPH D0913 and then hits 2nd gear,
and it holds 2nd gear until ~85MPH D0918 and then hits 3rd gear.

When you select manual 2nd, it takes off in 2nd gear,
and it holds 2nd gear until ~85MPH D0919 and then hits 3rd gear.

D0919 does not interfere with D0913, D0918.

In all of the above, as soon as the speed drops below D0919/D0913/D0918 (not sure if it's that value or if there is another set of values not yet seen), the PCM immediately downshifts 1 gear.

Dragging this... On some OS's, i've found these values do nothing. If you select first gear it will keep in first gear....

I have 2 cars with different symptoms... one will shift to second gear but the other one will not. The one car that WILL shift to second, will not shift to third at the specified D0918 value.

Any thoughts?
