scanning assistance

I have a v2 scanner with 2 open license's it is not allowing me to scan my stock ecm on my new truck

Licenses are not needed to connect to the scan tool.

Are you connecting to the V7 scan tool, the scan tool within V8 software, or are you attempting to use FlashScan V2 BBX scan features?

If you are attempting to scan using BBX, did you setup and program the device first?

Im assuming you already pulled the stock file from the truck.

I can not pull the stock file out of my new truck it does not allow me to

Have you tried deleting efi live and reinstalling it on your computer? Worked for me once before. Was the truck previously tuned? Could be locked

You should be able to reflash over a locked ecm iirc. Just cant read the files out.
