    Default Bricked LB7 ecm

I tuned a 04 LB7 Saturday and when I got done with the flash the relays in the under hood box were clicking on and off rapidly and the glow plug and security light was flashing on and off. and all it would do when I tried to start it, it would just bump the starter every couple of seconds. I tried to flash it with my bench harness and it would not respond or would not allow it to be read. I had a spare ECM and I flashed it and got him going. the DSP5 setting 2 and 3 had some off looking values in the main injection tables before I even ran the stock EFi live script. I'm wondering if the dsp5 file is corrupt or something. I didn't want to the flash the Dsp5 file in and kill another Ecm. any ideas?

There is a OS out there that will cause the relay and blinking glow plug lights. It is recoverable though, I made that mistake years ago now and just flashed in a good OS to fix it. IIRC I only use 6006 for the 01-02 and 9044 for the 03-04s. Only time this can become an issue is when guys are using the insight to switch tunes, ive had to be a bit sneaky on those trucks to get the edge to see it.

03904405 Is the OS and yes it was setup to use the Insight to switch tunes. IDk if this will be recovered I tried to flash a stock Lb7 tune back in with a bench harness and it still would not communicate with it. But I will give it a try. thanks.
