swapping ECM

I have a guy here that has ruined an ecm with a downloader. I tried flashing it and its dead. I have a good used ECM and have put it in the truck and changed the vin. Truck would run 3 sec and die. I disabled skim key and anti theft and the truck now runs but it throws a check engine light and the anti theft light is on. Is there anything I can do to get the lights off the dash?

Did you reprogram the VIn?

Shouldn't need to disable antitheft. Just a good Vin with correct trans file should be all you n need

I did reprogram with the proper vin changed in the calibration screen. Im not missing anything else am I?

Ive tried all ways, truck only runs with theft disabled.

Try reprogramming the VIN via the scantool, the VIN change in the calibration screen doesn't get written to the ECM during a flash (on the 6.7L anyway).
