Default Analog voltage input not reading in scanner

So I just installed a lc2 wideband and and using anolog output 2 off the wideband to connect to my orange connector for the v2 box 0-5v input. I set up the pids and am reading 2v on the plug with a meter and when I scroll through the options on the box and look at self test and displayed ext voltages it shows the same 2vs. Now when I connect to the car through the scanner and start monitoring real time data everything stays at 0v for the wideband and ext v pids. ? What am I doing wrong.?

    In the V7 scantool...?

Click the red record button (instead of the yellow monitor button).

BTW: you really should be using serial comms between your LC-2 and your V2.

    Default Serial comms

See this pic (note the null modem adapter, it is not a passthru):

Or you can make a cable to do the same thing (cwap Rx and Tx).

Thanks but I'm really really wanting to make this 0-5v input work. I used to use the same thing years ago on my turbo truck and worked fine and need to get this working tonight somehow. Any ideas on that?

LC-2 Analog Out 1 is already pre-programmed for 0-5V linear AFR (see page 8 in the LC-2 user manual).

    Connect:
    - LC-1 Analog Out 1 (yellow wire) to V2 AD1+
    - LC-1 Ground (black wire) to V2 AD1-
    - LC-1 Ground (black wire) to vehicle ground
    - LC-1 Power (red wire) to switched and fused vehicle power

IMPORTANT: tape off the brown wire (Analog Out 2) to avoid shorting it anywhere...!!!

    WARNING:
when LC-2 is powered up, do not let either of the yellow or brown wires short anywhere...!!!

then if you're in a hurry log these pids:
    EXT.AD1, GM.AFR, CALC.AFR_LC11, CALC.BEN_LC11

( you can see in the LC-2 user manual that the 0-5V range maps to AFR 7.35-22.35 same as the LC-1 )

    otherwise log these pids:
    EXT.AD1, GM.EQIVRATIO, CALC.AFR_LC11, CALC.WO2BEN
    ( use the calc_pids.txt file from the Calc.VET thread and edit CALC.WO2BEN (CLC-00-130) to read "{GM.EQIVRATIO}*{CALC.AFR_LC11}/14.7" )
