COS #3 for 2004 silverado bricks pcm
I went to convert OS 1257603 to COS3 and it would take the FULL flash of the COS, it would take the calibration flash of the tune but then brick the pcm as soon as you try to read out the tune. It did this on 2 pcm's in the same truck one of which was a 100% stock before starting. I was able to recover one pcm with efi live and the used hp tuners and there 3 bar OS and it worked fine.
Anyone ran into this?
Odd, had one do a error after full flash, PITA, but trashing the PCM from reading it out afterwards, GTBKM.
Since the V8 transition has started I have noticed EFILive is screwy, almost like a mad man (maniacal laugh) is screwing with the customers. JK!

Are you flashing using V7 or V8...?
tried both
I had a 03 ss drive me crazy couldn't even read it, hpt worked great. after hrs and hrs I used v8 worked ever time got me ?
