I am curious if there is anyone who has worked with the cam tables and whether there is any progress made in figuring them out. I have read up on how they work, but am having issues with them not tracking desired vs actual.

Did you ever find anything out? Facing the same issues on a 2.5L in my Malibu.
The best place to read up on this is the "other" sites forum. They are more willing to share information than anyone on here. You have to dissect the table information some, but there is a TON of help.
