    Default Replacing the ecm ?

    I need to replace the ecm in my 05 LLY and If I remember right there is a way to do this without buying another license. if not thats fine but I was thinking there was?

    No there is no way around it you will need a new license.

    Thanks man. I thought there was some way. which wouldn't make sense anyway cause then a person could flash any ecm without a license.

    If you provide a copy of the invoice showing you had to purchase a new ECM due to failure etc we will give you a complementary license.

    Damn I didn't I bought one from a wreck yard.

    But you got a receipt of some sort right? Doesn't need to be 'brand new'
