    Default Main Timing

I've been reading lots of threads about main timing, but some of them are very old and haven't found any recent ones. I see mention of some type of 20* offset or something of that nature. I have the lastest version installed now and noticed that the main timing table has lots of negatives, but the pilot timing has many positives which I understand that pilot timing + main timing = start of pilot timing BTDC. So it kind of makes since, but I'm still uncertain if there is some sort of 20* offset. Would really like to know that before I start messing with the timing any. Thanks.

The 20 degree offset was taken care of early on. What you are seeing is what is actually being sent to the injectors.

Thanks very much. Do you sell the CSP5 switches? When I ordered my V2 from you I didn't see the option anywhere for it?

We do, give the guys a call at the shop to order. We sell so many with tuners that we have a hard time keeping them in stock so we do not advertise them separately on the website

So if one was to phase out the pilot or run like a "vp tune", whats a good starting point for main timing. What do these trucks like? If I knew what a good starting point was I could tune from there.
