Default Do I need CSP5 to BBx

Little confused. Trying to setup my flashscan to cal tune the truck. I understand that as long as the OS doesn't change I don't have to full flash the truck?

I loaded the tunes onto the flashscan via efilive explorer but when I hooked the flashscan to the truck(not in pass-thru with laptop) it says error 0502 cannot find script. So a little confused there?

Also, I don't have a CSP5 switch. I was trying to setup the V2 to bbx log but it gave a warning saying I must have CSP5 software to do this. Is this correct?

Remember, Cummins ALWAYS full flashes. The BBx needs to have "tune tab cm849" selected.

BTW - to bbx log the OS must be a CSP5 switchable tune but its not a requirement to have the physical switch. You can still tune switch with the V2

So for the bbx logging I right click on controller and select CM849 and then add the PIDS I want?

Move'n Up: How do I tell if my tune is SCP5 switchable? And how do I tune switch with the V2?

Ok maybe I figured it out. So do I open the file with v7.5. Then go to upgrade OS and select to apply upgrade it to CSP5?

Ok so I took my base tune file and converted it to a CSP5 file. Save it and re-opened like instructions said. Then calibrated tune #1 and tune #2 how I wanted them. Then saved it again. Then I dropped the CSP5 tune into the v2 via explorer. Then opened V8 hit the bbx option. On the scan side I manually selected the 849 cummins as the controller and then selected the PIDS I wanted to read. Then hit program. Then I went to the switch option on bbx and named tune 1 and tune 2 like I wanted and hit program again. Unplugged it, walked out to truck and tryed to full flash truck the CSP5 file and same error occurs. What am I doing wrong?

Ok well I loaded the csp5 tune thru pass thru to get it on the truck. That worked and I can then switch them with the V2 so it's half way working lol. Then I tried to log with the laptop connected pass thru and it says option not available. Crud. Keep hitting road blocks. Any help?

See if this helps? Maybe you missed something along the way.
