    Default components needed for LM-2

    Hey all

I want to ensure I have all components necessary to establish the serial link between my WB controller ( LM-2) and my V2

What are the components that are needed to link both so I can start logging ?

    Thanks

LM-2: do you have the serial cable that came with this...?
FSV2: do you have the serial cable that came with this...?

You then need a null modem adapter, see the pic in post #3 here: serial-port-cable-that-goes-to-v2

And then follow the instructions in post #3 here: Setting-up-a-FSV2-from-scratch

And then you will need to make a BEN calc pid to best utilize your wideband, this depends on which ECM you have...

    What year/model/vehicle do you have...?

Yes. It must say "null modem" or "null" or "nm" on it.

I having an LM-2 with dual WB will the Efi live support 2 serial inputs?
and how to use the analog out put from lm2 to simulate the narrow band signal

I plan to delete stock NB sensors

Does anyone have the output voltage curve to simulate stock NB out put?

    Thanks,

    Yes...

connect terminator plug to WB1 serial in, connect WB1 serial out to WB2 serial in, connect WB2 serial out to FSV2.

The LM-2 should have one channel already programmed like this...

the transfer function is a steep negative step from 1.1V to 0V right around stoich.

see the LM-2 and LC-1 user manuals.

    You would connect like this:
    - connect LM-2 analog signal to NBO2 Signal Hi.
    - connect LM-2 analog return to NBO2 Signal Lo.
    - do not connect LM-2 analog return to ground.
    - do not connect NBO2 Signal Lo to ground.
