HELP: ECM DEAD after CSP5 Upgrade!

So I just installed the ECM from the junk yard.

I got the tune from file tune depot.
First time I flashed (that tune nothing edited except vin in the calibration box) it failed with checksum error
Tried it again and it worked.

The truck starts but runs for about 5 seconds and then shuts off.
Edge says code P0513 invalid skim key.

Then I go into ECM Options --> Parameters and disable B9905

During this flash I have to keep trying (3rd time is a charm)

Now the truck starts but these lights are on
1. Air bag light
2. Security light (red dot bottom right)
3. ABS Light

What is causing these lights?

EDIT: I have checked the vin number about 10 times, and it is correct in efi live.

Sounds like you need a factory tool to update/relink the other modules to the swapped ecm.

I bought a new ecm. My friend that works at cummins is still finding the cables for the CM2100.

You have codes present in the other modules. Hook up a good scan tool to the truck and clear all codes. Most likely it will be happy.

I beleave that the first ecm could have been brought back by putting it on the bench and then forcing it into rom boot mode with bench cable. There is a way to do this with all cummins ecms. I have never had a ecm on a truck that couldn't be brought back by forcing the ecm to reboot.

do you have the pinout to do a bench flash?
what program do you use to load the rom?

calterm but i am now in the same boat as you. I am trying to find out which pins are the ones to put it into rom boot mode. It is like foring your pc to reset. I have done this alot with class 8 truck ecms put i have the rom boot harnesses.
