    1st fire up (FI).efi

    Joe, it's funny you should mention fusible links :-)

    Main engine earth wasn't doing it's job so the starter motor tried to find it's own way back to the battery. Slack handful of fuses later and a bit of head scratching - all good now.

    Mains fed anything now banned from anywhere near my car - just in case :-)

    Right.

    Ignition on, set V2 to record data, push start button..........1st crank fire up success

    Just let it idle up to about 70 deg C then shut it down to check fluids/top up etc

    I'm declaring success for tonight before I get carried away, time for a beer now

    So chuffed!

    Will make a logical plan for tomorrow over my beer now.

    Baby steps are going OK - but the temptation to step on it and beat it is strong....must resist :-).

    2nd short gentle run attached (I haven't applied the changes yet), BENs look pretty close for early days. Quick question, I'm assuming the Crazy lean condition I get when I step off the throttle is a Manifold air leak? I've turned off DFCO as per AutoVE so presume it's a bit more fault finding for me?

    Looks like a healthy idle. Beer takes priority
