    Question 411 swap trans problems

    Done 411 swap 1996 k1500 4x4 Chevy 4l60e trans. Put truck in drive or reverse lunges forward hard and kills engine like the converter is locked up. Check my pin out sheet several times with my pin conectors they all are in the right spot with my pin out sheet. Also preformed a crank relearn and came up with an error the engine seems to run fine. I am new using efilive learning a lot so far. If any one can help I would be greatful.

    Does the 411 PCM happen to have a 4L80E trans segment flashed in...?

    Try swapping in a 4L60E segment, do a full flash.

    I only have one tune off of gmtruckcentral.com it say's it's for a 4l60e. Is there any one one that can send me a secure tune to start with or a segment?

    Yes it had one to start with I reflashed it with the tune off of gm truck central

    Ok, using the scantool, log the TCCMODE and the TSTATEnn pids to see if the PCM is locking the TCC at startup...

    if it is not, then check wiring for short.

    Thanks for the info. Found another vin file and done a segment swap still same problem. Tried to log TCCMODE and the TSTATEnn not shur what nn #s to use? Sorry for not being so educated lots to learn. Going to check for short tomorrow and voltage at pin 411 pcm I stuck the original pcm in last night and worked perfectly so I believe it's not a short. I pulled a diagram off line with specs and outputs.
