    Default Pwm

I put a 95 4L60E trans in my swap it takes off in 2nd gear, I was told that the PWM will not let it drop in to 1st gear. But when I manually pull in into 1st it will drop in. is there any way to turn off the PWM completely

PWM is not causing your 2nd gear start.

PWM refers to the PCS solenoid signal for controlling line pressure, there is no way to disable this in the tune.

What would cause the 2nd gear start?

    Several things can do it:
    - Limp Mode (but then you would not get manual 1st like you said),
    - incorrect VSS signal,
    - incorrect TPS signal,
    - incorrect shift tables in tune,
    - other stuff.
