    Default PID Validation

I tried to validate PIDS today on my friends 2015 Camaro SS (E38 ECM). After connecting to the car with V7 build 303 (using V2 in pass-thru) I validated PIDs and everything seemed to work correctly, but after disconnecting and closing V7, there were no .vml or .vpl files starting with his VIN in the EFILive/V7.5/PIDs folder......

    Thanks

When you were on the PIDs tab, did you save the pid list to a file...?

No I didn't. It's been a while since I did a validate PIDs, but I don't remember ever having to do that. The Scan tool saved the .vml & .vpl files.

All fixed. It looks like the VIN got messed up. After putting the VIN back in with V7 Scan tool, it validated and saved the file.
