Max Map for COS5

Does the 0411 ecu have a 255 limit for the map just as it does for the kph or is it just a logging restriction?

I run a late model 3bar map sensor. Which is configured with 312.5 for scaler & -11 for offset.

During an event recently while logging with the v2, it wouldn't display anything over 255 map. So it kinda makes the boost timing table useless past that point.

I realize there wont be any updates to the old cos stuff, but thought id post my findings.

Only on the SAE PID, that is the upper limit (as defined by the SAE), I think there is another MAP PID on the LS1B that you could use because the PCM does see beyond 255.

Ok Cool. I'll look for it and add it to the v2. Have 1 last event for this season to go near the end of april so i have some time to play with it.

Interested to know which PID could log more than 255 kpa
