    Default File locking general question

Is it possible to lock a file with my FlashScan V2 so somebody else with w Flashscan V2 can write that file, but not open it and see what is done?
I understand that it works with Autocal, but i could not find info if it works for another V2 device also.
If it works, how do i do this? (or where can i find it in the instructions. I searched but no success).

Yes, the restrictions are at file level, not FS/AC hardware. You can save a tune (not with your FS V2 serial embedded) as write-only and they can just flash it. However, unless it's a lockable controller, they can just read the tune back out and see the changes.

If it's for a Cummins then if you convert the OS to a CSP5 it can not be read out of the ECM
