Default Anyone wreck their torque convertor clutch yet?

Just curious. I'm locking up the TCC at low speeds keeping the rev at 1200 WOT. How strong is that little clutch?

The stock TCC slips easily; low RPM won't kill it, but high torque will, which is why the tables release it above 80% throttle.

How're you keeping the engine at 1200 RPM with WOT...?
TCC would be released at WOT meaning the TC is heating up the ATF very quickly frying your trans instead, but the TCC will be ok.
