LSA boosted tuning question
LSA Help please. Doing my first LSA upgrade and I may or may not have a problem. So far we have done a full xforce system incl extractors and a VCM cold air intake with small tuning adjustments to suit. The lower reading is the std engine setup tuned from 8 months ago or so, the 2nd graph is with the exh and intake.
Somehow my and the customer's expectation wasn't supported in the dyno readings 2WD Dyno Dynamics conservative reading. Although torq increase was across the board all of it seemed to come from the exhaust upgrade with the intake upgrade showing no gain at all. (Fitted while on the dyno )
Boost is sitting constant at about 157KPA with the std engine, exhaust upgraded and then the intake upgraded with no change in boost level.
Question:
Does the supercharger control flap stick its nose in and close off to maintain a set boost level hence why so little gain ????
If so how do I turn this off as we are fitting a OD pulley tomorrow?
Can post tune and logs of run when I get home from work.
The problem may just be overrated sales pitch that we all see on popular websites promising 15 engine rwKW from exhs and 10rwkw from intakes.
