Will the l31 (5.7L) vortec engine's computer fire and ls1 injector? Im wanting to switch to a port fuel injection intake and im not wanting to do a ls1 computer swap, and the port fuel injection intake for the old sbc takes ls1 injectors.

I have never done the LS1 injectors on the Black Box PCM. I know it has been done many times. The 7.4 truck guys have been doing it for years. I will also tell you that the 12200411 PCM swap is super easy and can be done in about 45 minutes.
