    Default 2010 6.7 doing delete and efi live. Codes. Trucks dead in da water

    Hooked up my new efi live went through all the direction download went to 100% error code 053e came up in tried it over and over got some more codes. U1601. 311.312.0340.281. Programmershows no program or vin#. Wtf

    I would suspect a flash failed. Flash in the patch file once more (even if you already did) followed by the tune file you got from your tuner.

    053E is VIN security restriction in *.ctz file does not match controller's VIN.

    You need to contact your tuner and get a tune file that matches your vin, or attempt to flash a tune file without VIN security restrictions.
