    Default Tuning a 6.7 with a 5.9 Ecm

Hey guys have any of you ever done this and I was wondering what a good starting point would be. Should I use a base 6.7 table or a 5.9. I believe the truck will be 6.7 injectors with 250%over and pistons to match.

Also I'm not sure where to put this so I figured since it was a 5.9ecm it should go here Admins move if necessary.

    Thanks
    Tyler

    Default Tuning a 6.7 with a 5.9 Ecm

Good luck getting the 5.9 ecm to run the 6.7 injectors correctly.

How comes? Would it better to just put 06 pistons and injectors in?

What is the problem with the 5.9 ecm running 6.7 injectors?

The 6.7 injector solenoids require more voltage than the ecm can produce.

I've delt with a few trucks recently with what you want to do with no success. Swap to 5,9 injectors and problem solved

Would you suggest 5.9 injectors and 6.7 pistons. or get special pistons to match the 5.9 but with the bore of a 6.7.

You can use either 143* BMS or a set of 03-04 nozzles. Both work in a 6.7 bowl

maybe I should of specified but this is a dedicated pulling truck a 2nd gen dodge converted to a 6.7. So it needs fuel to 5000 rpm. 6.7 ecm only get to 3200 right now I believe.
