    Default 2002 corvette stock

    Hey guys,

So I picked up a 55k c5 2002 corvette m6 that is nearly perfect condition, stock everything except for a z06 exhaust. I was wondering what adjustments I should make to the tune to make a little more power. I want to keep it on the conservative side because the car will be my daily driver in the spring.

As far as my trans am from my other thread, I will be conducting a turbo build on it soon! so stay posted for some serious horsepower.

Dude, I thought you were a college kid - c5's ain't Ramen noodles brah. Lol

I've poked around my friends c5 Z06 tune, there's not a lot of slack in it like there is in the truck motors. Maybe look at the torque reduction tables like "max torque per gear". Other than that I don't have much input.

I wonder how the c5z and a base c5 tune compare to each other. I always say work hard play hard. Currently, I am working part time making some dough so the toys keep getting better!

Pretty different as the c5z due to the heads and cam difference.

Here's a 2003 base m6 vs 2002 Z06 tune... same OS so you can easily use the compare feature in the software to see the differences.

I was looking at the high octane spark tables for the base 2003 corvette and I feel like the timing could be advanced in the high rpm high load cases. 17 at WOT is like nothing

Spark and power enrichment... you'll find most gains in the lower rpm area.

no idea how to post anymore, i have been out of touch for over a year. its the stock tune, look it up, but tel me where, if you do, because the depot seems to be not working any more.

edit: then you go and look up a holden of the same vintage and it gets 17
