    Default Is this possible?

    I did some searching and didn't find anything on the following questions. Any help is greatly appreciated. The vehicle is a '97 S-10 2.2L manual trans.


    -I've removed the ABS and switched to hydroboost, which now throws a code. Is it possible with EFI to essentially tell the CPU to forget about the ABS?

    -Also, S-10's have a notorious problem with the fuel sending unit and gas gauge. The part is fairly expensive and usually goes out within a year. This also throws a code. Is it possible to tell the CPU to ignore the gas gauge?

    No you can not do any of those things with EFI on a 97 S10.

    Thanks for the response, minytrker.

    Of course after I posted this I noticed that 94-99 S-10s aren't on the list. Is the reason that my questions aren't possible because EFI simply doesn't support my CPU or is it that EFI doesn't have those capabilites?
