Default Idles fine till I turn on AC

    Tuning a 427 with a 230ish cam in it(yeah I know..small for a 427)
basically its a guy my dad works with...

have everything feeling great..idles nice...except for when I turn on the AC it surges and hunts and then finally dies...
I can hear the AC compressor kicking on and off...

what do I need to change to stabilize this?

    2001 camaro A4 witha 3000ish stall 427 ls6 block and 230ish cam.

Log your RAFPN and RAFIG (depending on whether you're in gear or not) and keep an eye on IAC counts when this happens. You may need to adjust {B4354}. To see all tables that have to do with AC, search for "a/c" in the search field within the tuning tool.

Just for kicks during my auto VE tuning I threw on the AC while idling and logged. I don't know how much that helps out the baseline, but I figured it couldn't hurt. Just food for thought.
