$0531 error

Did the whole unlock thing with the Bullydog and went to flash a 15 Dodge and keep getting the error $0531. I've read that it's a number mismatch thing between the tune and the ECM. The tune is locked so I assume the tuner has to fix it. Is this correct?

Yes. The serial number of your ECM does not match the serial number in the tune file security. Your tuner will need to correct it.

Some times the bully dog blanks the vin number to all 0000 that's why some tuners lock it to the controller not the vin
