You should be able to figure it out with that. I know it can be done... If you decide to do it.

The problem is if people share everything is A. It can open up legal troubles. and B. It can turn the industry into a bunch of wolves fighting over a piece of meat. How would you feel if I could just use a tool to convert your tunes into a .bin? You made this? I made this.

I would just like to know the way to aquire base files. Obviously it's not done with Ktag.

I'm not sure what you're implying. It sounds pretty easy to do if you have a GM subscription and an MDI. Just need to find where the files are cached (shouldn't take too long) and follow my guide here https://forum.efilive.com/showthread...4-Making-a-bin. I'm not gonna sit here and really question if its legal or not, up to lawyers on that one.

Otherwise... Only other method is to use a separate tool to snoop on network traffic. Intercept the flash as its being transmitted and record it on a computer. Haven't tried that but that would be pretty cool (and allow stealing tunes, which isn't cool).

Is this still going to be added in?

I don't know, nobody has submitted an Alientech read from an E86B. It won't be added as a priority though if we do get the files.
