I bought a truck that came with an Autocal and locked tune. First is there a way to ID the programmer through the serial number. Second if I can't find the programmer can I waste another license and program it with my V2.

If you look at the file names, you MAY be able to determine who's V2, the Autocal is linked to. If you post the files names here someone may be able to help find the tuner by the naming format of the files. The EFILive folks on here may be able to help you out by serial number as well.
No, buying a new VIN license won't do anything for you. Once an Autocal is linked to a V2, it can only be unlinked by the person who has that V2.

I'm not looking to use the Autocal I just didn't know if I could completely reprogram the ecu with my v2. I will get some pictures up when I get home
Ok thanks for the help KhakiCummins.
EFI Live license # 003632648534
File name on Autocal FPE_DSP5
Autocal serial# 5000472477
based on the file name, I'm guessing it's Fleece Performance.

If you contact them, they should be able to tell you if it's linked to their V2.
