Default Replaced computers need to change vin now.

Hi, I changed the computers and the truck now I need to change the VIN numbers. How do I do this? I have a 2007 LBZ Duramax with a autocal EFI live tune and the V8 EFI Live Scan in tune program.

I know it can be done with a V2 in the V7.5 Scan tool, not sure with a autocal but you could give it a try you will need to download the V7.5 software.

Also since you changed ECM's you will need to relearn VATS did you do this already?

I havent tried with an AutoCal, but you wont be able to upload your tunes most likely anyway. Contact your tuner who provided the AC unit, they will be able to tell you if you can purchase a new VIN license for $125 and flash their tunes or if they will need to update the tunes for your new ECM first. Either way, you'll have to spend $125 on a VIN license to flash their tunes.
