    Default E38 Flex Fuel

Want to make my Camaro -12 L99 Flex Fuel. E38 os. 12649046, E85 tables populated, switched multifuel on and actualsensor on. added GM sensor to fuelline connected output to E38 pin 40, it shows 4kOhm resistance against ground so assume its OK. When logging sae E85R pid it shows 0, even I know fuel in tank is about E15. I tried this earlier without sensor only multifuel on and car ran fine with about E60 as virtual sensor but pid shoved 0. If multifuel is not on car will run with about E30 and after that report lean. What am Imissing?
RON 98 is about 1,6Eur but E85 is 0,9Eur here so....
Want to make good use of E85, what should I adjust, more timing?
Car has headers, race cats, exhaus, intake, cold air, AFM off, 3.91, no mods inside engine yet.

You have to find out why the E85R pid is not working.

Yes, maybe I dont do logging right? but I can see other values changing on live? I put in diagnostics sensor MIL on instead not reported, no MIL. Is there a Pid showing sensor frequency I can log? Is there something else I need to put on other than Multifuel and real sensor?

EDIT. I found reason, my fault, bad connection on sensor wiring, fixed, now shows steady 16% Great.

But advice what to adjust welcome or if someone has good tune I am ready to contribute.

    Thanks Joecar.

Ok, glad it was easily fixed

Also log the pid GM.E85PCT to see what it says.

Pid E85R shows 75%, where do I find pid E85PCT or is it the same. Car runs fine with 75% etanol, but sometimes on start when warm it "humps" 30sec between 500-1000rpm and then goes steady 500, no codes. Also cold start is OK but lazyer than with gas, when in normal temp runs maybe smoother than gas.

    Pid E85PCT:
in scantool, on PIDs tab, click on the column heading "Caption" (i.e. click on the word "Caption") to sort on that column...
then scroll down while looking in this column until you see both E85R and E85PCT...

Also, go Info->Validate Pids... and see if E85PCT can be selected and can log (it may or may not be supported by various ECM's).

It does not want show E85PCT, its on list but, says not available, E85R 74,5% Works fine exept start with one hour stopt engine, idle humps up and down, not with cold engine or after 15min stop? what gives? Changed free flow filter and inlet tube, maf freg. dropped from 1800 on idle to 1500, so flows better, but I need adjust something. Car had allready Fast intake and headers with good exhaust and sound.

Did you tune for the FAST/headers...? Did you tune idle...?

I think no tune has been done, I havent yet, it had exhaust and Fast when I got it, it worked fine, only AFM was turned off and axle ratio changed. Idle start up hunting appeared with E85, so its related to lower evaporation rate or... I added JLT inlet and filter, its larger than orginal and good shape, smooth. MAF is so called "strong" one K11. I am not very experienced on tuning, did some on earlier LS1, it had cam, heads, inlet and exhaust, worked real good. I got new V2 few months ago, E38 looks more complicated than LS1 did. I dont have WB yet. Have to read and understand idle tuning and other threds. Have not really driven car this year yet, spring is late, weather sucks, been busy with work also.
