    Need:
    - intake manifold drilled/bunged for injectors, and for MAP and IAT sensors, and for ECT sensor (near thermostat).
    - carburetor-style throttle body with TPS sensor and IACV.
    - crank position wheel/sensor.
    - cam position sensor (may be distributor driven).
    - fuel pump.
    - contooller.

    May or may not want:
    - MAF sensor.
    - O2 sensors.
    - individual coil packs.

    The easiest way is see what Summit and Jegs have from these guys:
    - Edelbrock
    - Holley
    - MSD
    - FAST

    you want to look for these features:
    - wideband O2 integration (i.e. runs from it, i.e. self tuning)
    - auto trans control (if you run AT)
    - AC control (if you have AC)
    - easy retrofit to older engines, specifically Ford 351C/W
    - self-contained throttle body and/or fuel rails (all the sensors/devices fit inside) for a clean non-EFI look (if this is what you want)
    - if you want editing ability via laptop, look for this (some units use only a hand-held module).

    Thank you so much for reply. I built the motor 10 years ago balanced and blue printed with edlebrock RPM kit , intake, aluminum heads(202 valves), 750 carb an Cam package. Dyno was 450 HP , I like to do a little racing an now a days seems everyone is using lap top tunes in between races....feeling like a dinosaur ,.....wondering also what estimate cost would be to convert?

    I see kits at Jegs and Summit running from $800 to $2500, depending on what is included...

    the more basic (cheaper) kits do this:
    - replaces carburetor with throttle body and injectors/sensors (i.e. fits on top of your existing intake manifold);
    - replaces points ignition with electronic trigger (replaces the guts inside your existing distributor);
    - replaces fuel pump with high pressure/volume electric pump;
    - adds computer controller;
    i.e. it keeps most of your components and adds just what is needed.

    With EFI you can tune the whole operating range (not just WOT), so you can get better street manners (and fuel economy) and retain strip performance...

    but there is some learning curve...

    visit those manufacturer's websites and see what user manual reading material they have... make your choice based on the extent of the info/data provided.
