Stalls when shifted to drive

I'm working on a 2004 5.3 + 4l60e with electronic throttle swapped into an old gmc pickup. When I shift into gear or turn the ac on the idle drops way down. When this happens timing goes right to 30 deg. and the e throttle closes a bit. The same thing happens while driving and the vehicle comes to a stop. It seems like the throttle should stay put or open a little instead. I can't figure out what tables control this. You might have to add to the idle IG airflow table... ( I should have asked: do you have the CPP switch connected...? )
