Default Stock Base File Causing DEF Tank Empty Message

    Hello,

I have a 2016 LML which is bone stock. I got a base file to start messing with doing some DPF friendly tuning and even with the file untouched, The DIC is saying empty DEF tank 400 miles until 65 mph limit. With the V2 I can see that the DEF tank is 30% full. I checked all the part numbers from the base file I used and what was on the truck and they matched fine.

Any help with resetting/fixing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Sam

Mine did about the same thing after loading a new map. Just add a quart or two and see if it goes away. You may also need to do a manual re-gen if the exhaust filter is close to full as well.
