Default E98 in 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel

I recently purchased a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze Diesel, I have read somewhere this car uses the same E98 ECM as the 2.8L Duramax, is that correct? I am tring to figure out if the car has been completing regens. So far the temps that I can see on an EDGE INSIGHT that I use on my Canyon Duramax has not helped. The Insight does not show all of the EGT sensors. I recently got a Scan Gauge 2 and so far the Xgauge coding works with the 2.8L (LWN) coding and not the 2014-2015 coding. Any help would be great. Thank You.
