    Default A50 vin

Hi I'm trying to flash my stock vin into a new A50 tcm for my 2011 LML. I read the new tcm and changed the vin in v8 under properties. When I reflash my tcm with new file and read it out again the vin goes back to all zeros. What am I missing ?

You can change it in the V7.5 scan tool.

I've gone into 7.5 and changed it then saved the file. But when I flash it to the tcm it doesn't take the vin. It stays all zeros.

You will need to connect to the TCM with the scan tool

+1 always use the scantool to change the VIN on any PCM, ECM, TCM.
