Hi guys, I have been reading heaps of posts to get the confidence up to start playing with my V2 and e38 but I keep reading about BEN and I have searched but can't find an answer to what it actually means.

lol...
BEN is an acronym coined from "Base Efficiency Numerator" which does not mean anything...
it also is named after Ben Strader of EFI University (efi101.com).
What it is:
it is the correction multiplier (to be applied to VE or MAF tables) calculated from commanded fuel and wideband lambda
i.e. it is calculated as any of these:
{EXT.WO2LAM1} * {GM.EQIVRATIO}
{EXT.WO2LAM1} / {SAE.LAMBDA}
{EXT.WO2AFR1} / {GM.AFR}
( remembering that EQR = 1/Lambda and AFR = Lambda * stoichAFR )
