Default 2917 Chevrolet SS Unrecognized PCM

Hello. I've been away from the board for a few years, so please forgive any loss of grey matter or lack of familiarity with the latest knowledge.
The CTZ file has been submitted to support by email, but I'm curious as to whether anyone has had any success with this model year. O/S is 12673958. The supported models lists the Chevy SS only through 2016, but does list the 2017 Holden Commodore / HSV as supported. Current EFI Live 7.5 shows all the VIN, O/S, MFG info, etc but returns an "unrecognized PCM message, and obviously cannot edit the tune.

    Yes fine on beta 330.
I was interested to compare whether there was any indication that the Driving Mode accords to presets in the tune, as many believe.
The proposition is that mode changes switch throttle rate and torque delivery. Possible, but don't see any indication from data displayed.

It's a miracle! The RC! releases did the trick.
Interestingly, I had to disable my Avast antivirus to get the installers to run. Something in there really ticked off Mr.Avast. Better safe than sorry, I suppose.

Thanks so much Joecar! You're a mensch.
I've really got a lot of catching up to do. I go back to the days when EFI Live was scan-only using the Autotap dongle, but I am amazed at the progress of you dedicated fellows have achieved. A tip of the hat to Paul and Ross as well.

PR4TE, that's an interesting proposition. I'm just getting to know the car. I suspect most of the mode changes relating to steering response and damper programming likely reside in the BCM, if not specialized modules. Muffler valves, I haven't a clue. Helms has not yet published a service manual for the 2017, but I'll have one as soon as it's available.

I'm considering purchasing a second PCM to do tuning on, and keep the original a virgin for warranty purposes, unless there are low level hacks to spoof the nannies.
