I am interested in GM truck LFA / LZ1 (Atkinson hybrid) Cam Phaser operational info because with these motors the phaser spring parks the cam in fully retarded position - LIVC - for stop/start and integration with the electric motor (Phaser 12602699).
My L92 VVT operates fully advanced when parked (Phaser 12585994) however I need it to be fully retarded parked as above.
With this phaser oil filling phases the cam in the reverse direction, more oil = more advance.
So apart from the phaser what else needs to match - is the oil control valve same?
What about the VVT cam core is the ID 156, 189, or something else?
Commanding the phaser in the tune has started from parked position at 0, adding oil to retard. What do the phaser timing tables look like for LFA / LZ1?
