    Default 2017+ Express van 2.8

Ross, have you looked at any 2017+ diesel Express van cals? They discontinued the 6.6 dmax in the vans for 2017 model year and now use the 2.8 coupled to the 8L90 8-speed.

    The main OS is 55488073.

Yes, they are quite different to the Colorado and will be a real pain to map so it hasn't happened yet. The code they run is closer to the Opel and Cruze would you believe (which also hasn't been done due to lack of enquiries).

Weird, I wonder why GM did it that way?

Is the 2.8 Express van ECM locked down like the new Cruze 1.6?

When you say locked down I'm not sure what you mean, they are still running just normal E98's with the 5 byte seed/key (but no SHA signatures like E41).

I thought i'd bump this back up rather than start a new topic.

From the supported vehicles page, it does say that the 2017-2018 vans with the 2.8l babymax are suppoerted.

I would just like to triple check that, and also see if there is DSP4 support.

Thanks for the hard work on these.

Now that the market is crazy due to you know what I see more people coming back to diesel's for economy.
It seems like the next wave of owners is just now starting to get into these engines in the vans, and also the Colorado/ Canyon's

I'm doing a few here but the last OS that I read can not be edited with Efilve, 24000176 2019 van

    Thanks Matt,
I have a customer that wants some work done to it.

I'm guessing it's engine only and the trans module is a locked T87A?

Do you happen to have a stock file from one you can share?

Curious to see how different from the colorado's it is, if at all.

I can send it to you but it can only be read or flashed, unless you have another way of looking at it. it can not be opened to be edited in efilive

send me an email if you want the file, matt (at) derkscustomcars dot com

I think the reason that GM uses a completely different OS for the vans is that the rest of the van still has '07-14 gm full size truck' electronics. its all the older stuff.
    Thanks,
