    Default E40 Bench Harness

The on-line tutorial for Bench Harnesses only has connections to the E40 blue connector and the only ground indicated is to pin 7 which is the E40s Acc Pedal Pos Sensor 1 Low Reference. Shouldn't ground be provided to Black 73 instead?

They are all internally connected, for bench programming where there is little current draw involved using that ground is fine.

I hate to bring this up from the dead....But this is my exact question. So just to clarify. E40 Blue connector Pin 7 goes to OBD port pin 4 and 5 then to ground.
Also would Black 73 work just the same? Any way better than the other?
    Thanks for Clarification.
